The Aviation Career Day at the Camarillo Airport was a big hit.

We’re very thankful to the Commemorative Air Museum and the Ventura County 99s for inviting us to spend a day with them. In all, about 50 organization visited with over 500 middle and high school students spanning the region.

We spoke to students about our career readiness program, which guides them to aviation and aerospace careers through scholarships, educational options, and employment. We promoted our partners AviNation (our career day next booth neighbor), AOPA, Choose Aerospace, and JSfirm.com. Many students downloaded our annual career planning workbook and signed up to get involved. Just as exciting was meeting the school educators, who wanted to incorporate our program in their classrooms.
