New Year off to a flying start!

New Year off to a flying start!

January 3, 2019

The Pathways to Aviation new year is off to an incredible start!

If you thought 2018 was an impressive year for Pathways to Aviation, fasten your seatbelt, as this year is going to break the sound barrier!

We’re working closely with aviation leaders, statewide and local education administrators, and workforce and business leaders to meet the needs of both students and the aerospace industry. We’ll be actively present at career events at high schools and colleges, open houses for airports, and strategic workforce meetings. We’re on a quest to prevent industry workforce shortages in nearby locations and throughout the state.

The popular Futures in Aerospace program is about to launch its third year. Career planning workshops will be held in three locations from January to April, followed by industry networking receptions at each venue in May.

A big thanks go to organizations which have made this career mentoring program free of charge to all students. They are the E.L. Cord Foundation, ISTAT Foundation, Truckee Tahoe Airport District, and Click Bond.
