One week until Aviation Career Week

Next week’s Pathways to Aviation Career Week is shaping quite nicely. We’re hosting 10 panel discussions and live interviews throughout the week, providing insight on many different career paths in the aviation and aerospace industry. It’s a virtual symposium of aviation and aerospace careers.

We intentionally scheduled the sessions to take place during the school day so that educators could showcase to groups of students. And, students who are done with school or continue to take classes virtually, may be able to participate.

Below is a basic list of the workshops.

Monday, May 10
9:00am PDT – Opportunities for Women in Aviation
11:00am PDT – Opportunities for Under-Represented Populations

Tuesday, May 11
9:00am PDT – Pilot Careers Panel Discussion
11:00am PDT – Interview with the Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association (specifically its High School Aviation STEM Curriculum)

Wednesday, May 12
9:00am PDT – Aerospace and Engineering Careers Panel Discussion
11:00am PDT – Interview with Civil Air Patrol (specifically its aerospace education program)

Thursday, May 13
9:00am PDT – Aviation Maintenance Careers Panel Discussion
1:00pm PDT – Interview with Choose Aerospace (specifically its high school maintenance curriculum)

Friday, May 14
9:00am PDT – Aviation Operations Careers Panel Discussion
11:00am PDT – Closing Session
