Yesterday’s workshop took us to the east coast where we met the Chief Aviation Strategy Officer for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
But, before we met Marily, we spent time discussing the many ways and locations to participate in positive and professional networking interactions. Among the ideas shared was to be intentional with your networking. For example, if you want to become a pilot, go meet pilots. If you want to become a mechanic, go meet mechanics. And so on. Being intentional points you in a productive direction, where you’ll find greater effectiveness based on a focused elevator pitch, targeted environment, and better use of time. Back to our guest, Marily Mora provided a great overview of her career journey and told us all about the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Rather than rehash it here, simply watch the interview.
