Flight Path Museum – Clay Lacy

The Clay Lacy Scholarship Program, is funded by Mr. Clay Lacy, and administered by the Flight Path Museum and Learning Center to encourage students to pursue careers in aviation.Clay Lacy is an aviation legend – one of the nation’s most highly accomplished and respected aviators. His professional piloting abilities include: United Airlines Captain, military aviator, experimental test pilot, air race champion, aviation record setter, aerial cinematographer, entrepreneur, founder and president of Clay Lacy Aviation, and the unchallenged holder of the highest number of flight hours of any active pilot.
Deadline: Monday May 31, 2022
Scholarship Award:
A $5000 scholarship will be presented to the most qualified applicant. The award may be used for payment of tuition, books, fees, pilot ground and flight training and other educational expenses.
The award of $5000 will be sent directly to recipient’s choice of educational institution (i.e., community college, four year college, university, technical school, etc.). If the awardee withdraws from the academic/training program with a tuition refund, the Flight Path Museum and Learning Center will receive the refund.
This scholarship may be renewable. Scholarship recipients from previous years are eligible to reapply.
Applicants can apply for more than one scholarship, each scholarship application will have to be completed and submitted separately.
