WCA – CAE Pilot Initial Scholarship

CAE, your worldwide training partner of choice is proud to award a scholarship for one Pilot In Command (PIC) type-rating from the below program offerings to Women in Corporate Aviation. Upon successful completion of the pilot initial training course, the recipient will earn a PIC type-rating in the appropriate aircraft program.

• Cessna Citation Sovereign (CE-680 type designation) – New Jersey
• Cessna Citation Bravo or Ultra (CE-500 type designation) – Dallas
• Beechcraft King Air 350i (BE-300 type designation) – Dallas

The scholarship winner must, as a minimum, be a holder of a Private Pilot Certificate with Multi Engine and Instrument-Airplane Rating. For this scholarship award, instrument skills are key to success. Before the type course the winner will receive a Jeppesen Review and Cockpit Resource Management (CRM) course (approximately one (1) day in length) to prepare the winner for the type rating course. Prerequisites are required before attending the course that is awarded.

The prerequisites to qualify for this award are:
• 500 hours PIC
• 100 hours Multi Engine Land (airplanes) (MEL)
• 100 hours instrument (Instr)
The course length will depend upon program selection and will be conducted in Dallas, Texas or Morristown, New Jersey. The scholarship winner is responsible for all lodging and travel costs. This type rating has no cash value and is non-transferable.

The scholarship award must be started within one year of the scholarship award date.
