WCA – Duncan Aviation, Inc. Aviation Maintenance Scholarship
September 3, 2021 - September 4, 2021
• The award amount for the student scholarship will be $2,000
• The student scholarship will be awarded to a female student who is currently enrolled in the Aviation Maintenance program at Lansing Community College
• The student must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0
• The student must write an essay as part of the application process. The essay will convey the student’s interest in aviation and what she hopes to do with a career in aviation following graduation
• The student must submit a letter of recommendation from one of her former or current teachers or mentors which will also be a part of the application for the scholarship
• The recipient must participate in a formal in-person interview for the in the Duncan Aviation, Inc. scholarship program
• If there are no qualified students who have applied for the scholarship, Duncan Aviation will be able to opt out of issuing a scholarship for that year and retain their funds
