The Society of Women Engineers Sierra Nevada Section awards annual scholarships to University of Nevada, Reno students (female or male) who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, a passion for engineering, involvement in SWE, and financial need. SWE-SNS receives donations and hosts events to fund the scholarship and it is administrated through a member selection committee that reviews applications and chooses each year’s recipient.
