Thank you for registering to attend our Women in Space speakers forum, taking place on March 21, 2024 at the University of Nevada, Reno.
Last year’s Top Gun event was pretty epic, but we believe the Women in Space will be out of the galaxy!
Pathways to Aviation hosts an annual speakers forum to elevate the aviation and aerospace industry. The event assembles industry leaders, who address key issues and opportunities. It welcomes enthusiasts, who want to be inspired. And, it welcomes young people who aspire to pursue aviation and aerospace careers.
The Top Gun event attracted 465 attendees, who were dazzled with an electrifying panel of leaders. The attendees were also introduced to 19 industry businesses, non-profit organizations, and campus clubs which displayed impressive materials, described their programs and services, and described career paths. Of the attendees, 45 were students who indicated an interest in pursuing aviation and aerospace careers. These students registered in the Pathways to Aviation career readiness certification program to launch them toward scholarship awards, college acceptances, and full-time employment.
All students and job seekers registered in the career readiness system are invited to on-site workshops and online discussions. They gain access to over 100 career readiness videos, our annual Career Planning Workbook, and mentors at absolutely no cost. Every candidate who has completed the career readiness certification process has achieved their goal, whether it’s a scholarship, college admission, or a job in the industry. We’re proud of this accomplishment and continue to work closely with any seeking employment in aviation and aerospace.
The programs are made possible thanks to contributions made by industry organizations, local businesses, and community leaders. I
