The first-ever aviation career mentoring workshop welcomed an enthusiastic group of students eager to learn more about the aviation industry.

The first of the multi-session workshop program focused on the basic steps students should consider when looking at careers in aviation. These include understanding their identifying various career interests, recognizing their soft skills (and those sought by employers), researching industry areas (including compensations, required skills, etc.), and knowing all the ways one can land a job.

The next session takes place on Wednesday, March 15. The focus will be resume writing and other important basic career planning necessities. Students will also be matched with professionals, who’ll provide college and career guidance. Click here for more details and to RSVP.
