The 2019 season of the Futures in Aerospace program launches tonight!
It’s a big week for Pathways to Aviation and, far more importantly, students in northern Nevada and the California Sierras. Three locations in three consecutive nights!
We’re excited to host aviation career workshops in Reno, Carson, and Truckee this week. Each workshop will feature speakers who will talk about operations at their respective airports. Students will also learn about various jobs in the aerospace industry, job opportunities, scholarships, and tips on job searching. They’ll also receive a specially-designed career planning workbook.
All high school and college students are invited to attend the workshops…as many as they wish. Thanks to outstanding supporters, the workshops are free of charge to all students. A very special thanks goes to the ISTAT Foundation, E.L. Cord Foundation, Truckee Tahoe Airport District, and Click Bond!
Here’s a review of this week’s workshops:
- Reno – Tuesday, January 22 at 5:30pm
- Carson – Wednesday, January 23 at 5:30pm
- Truckee Tahoe – Thursday, January 24 at 5:00pm
There’s no requirement to RSVP. We just want to know how much pizza to bring!
