New Workshop Series Underway!

The weekly workshop program started back up the week following the big Aviation Career Week in a big way. The first session allowed students and job seekers to share their favorite moments and industry leaders from the weeklong celebration. Then, they met Jon Rembold, Airports Director for Beaufort County, which is located in South Carolina. His presentation was the perfect way to kickoff the new series.

Last night’s workshop focused on utilizing a Career Readiness Checklist to manage your path toward securing the job of your choice. Our guest speaker was Greg Meisinger, American Airlines Pilot. Similar to Jon, his presentation was very impressive.

The series continues through September 15. Topics focus on vital career readiness skills, including identifying skills, writing resumes, understanding your why, first impressions, networking, interviewing, salary negotiation, and more. If you’re interested in speaking at one of these workshops, click here. If selected, you’ll share your career journey, ways you’re impacting the industry, and career advice.
