We launched a new series of career readiness virtual workshops for high school and college students, as well as all job seekers. The series prepares candidates for job interview success, but addressing key elements, such as resume writing and interviewing. The 45-minute workshops are free of charge and provide exceptional value to everyone, not just those interested in aviation careers.
The next set of workshops focuses on resume writing, a vital element in the job search process. The three-part resume writing series features the following workshops:
November 11, 2020 – Resume Preparation – RSVP
The focus of the workshop will be resume writing, particularly items to gather as you begin to write a resume for the first time. Those with resumes will benefit, as they’ll learn new tips to enhance their existing resumes. We’ll discuss understanding career interests, soft and hard skills, and more.
November 18, 2020 – Resume Basics – RSVP
Part two of our resume writing series will focus on the basic elements of the resume. It’s ideal for the high school or college student, who may not have a resume or is in the beginning stages of resume development. Those with resumes will learn tips on ways to make improvements.
November 25, 2020 – Resume Essentials – RSVP
The third and final part of the three part series dedicated to resume writing provides tips to making your resume appealing to the eye of the recruiter.
