The third workshop of the Reno Flight Plan attracted a full room, three inspirational speakers, and an fun conversation about resume-writing.

Twenty-one students, along with a nice group of family members, participated in the workshop featuring different aerospace industry careers and career coaching.

The students were dazzled by presentations made by the following three industry leaders:

• Stacy Haruguchi – Senior Tactical Systems Analyst with Tactical Air Support
• Steve Rikalo – Mechanical Engineer with Sierra Nevada Corporation
• Joe Rajacic – Retired Pilot with United Airlines and Med-Flight

Students gleaned new understandings about engineering, aircraft manufacturing, military support, defense initiatives, commercial aviation, and more! They all learned the basic components of a resume and several tips on how to leverage their education, work and voluntary experiences, and skills to craft compelling resumes.

In addition, six of the students received personalized, one-on-one resume review coaching following the session.
