South Carolina Aviation Association Scholarship

The South Carolina Aviation Association SCAA scholarship program will provide limited assistance for South Carolina residents attending a school inside or outside of the state who wish to pursue a career in the aviation industry.
The objective of the scholarship fund is to promote the aviation industry in South Carolina. Awarded scholarships will be provided at a minimum level of $500. Recipients may choose if funds are paid directly to recipient or to the institution.
The SCAA Scholarship Committee will review all applications and make recommendations to the board of directors.
Participating students must maintain an overall grade point average of 3.0 out of 4.0 or its equivalent.
In order to be eligible for the scholarship, students must be recommended by a member in good standing with SCAA.
Requirements and qualifications may be added or deleted by the SCAA Board of Directors’ as they deem necessary. Students may reapply each year, but first time applicants will receive preferential consideration.
Once an application has been received, it will remain on file and in contention until all funds have been expended. Applicants will receive letters of notification once his or her application has been either declined or approved.
