Key data from the Pilot and Technician Outlook (download here) identifies the need to add 2.4 million new pilots, technicians, and cabin crew members over the next 20 years. It’s important to note that these figures represents commercial aviation, business aviation, and civil helicopter industries…and assumes air traffic recovers to 2019 levels within the next four years.

The report identifies the demand for new personnel in North America to be 569,000, specifically:

• 208,000 Pilots
• 192,000 Technicians
• 169,000 Cabin Crew
